Warriors Dominate Home Tri Meet
|
Cherokee Grapplers dominated their home Tri meet with Chapel Hill & Woodstock January 6th 2010.
The warriors started the night off with a 67-6 drubbing of Chapel Hill. 6 Cherokee wrestlers landed pins in the match. Ryan Johnston also added a dominating Tech Fall performance winning 20-5.
After disposing of the Tigers the Warriors then took on County rival Woodstock. Dylan Barone, Jon Manous and Ryan Johnston started the meet of with 3 consecutive pins. After Trevor Nixon received a forfeit, Derrick Moore-215, Patrick Beal-285, Nick Walker-112, Cole Anderson-119 and Shad Mayes-125lbs all followed with their own pins. The final outcome was 59-19.
The next event for the CHS wrestlers is the Area Duals 1/9/10 at North Cobb. |
